Floravue Presents: A Creative Flower Arranging Class for Girls Aged 8 to 12

Looking for something refreshing and joyful for your daughter this summer? Floravue invites young girls to a lovely hands-on workshop where flowers, ribbons, and imagination come together in the most charming way. This isn’t just another class. It’s a playful and guided experience where children get to create something real and beautiful each week using their own hands.

The Flower Arranging Class is designed for girls aged 8 to 12. It runs throughout August and takes place every Tuesday morning from 10 am to 12 pm. Each session brings a new activity and a new reason to smile. The space is cozy and welcoming, with all materials provided. The only thing your child needs to bring is excitement and curiosity.

Workshop Dates and Topics

August 5 – Corsages and Boutonnières

The series starts with two classic floral pieces. A corsage is usually worn on the wrist or pinned to a dress. A boutonnière is a small flower worn near the collar. These pieces may be small, but they take care and creativity to make. In this session, girls will work with fresh flowers and learn how to build these mini designs step by step. They will learn how to match colors, attach the flowers with tape, and finish each one with a ribbon. It’s fun, calming, and surprisingly easy to learn. By the end, they’ll have two lovely pieces they can wear or share.

August 12 – Floral Frames

Next, the girls will make something a little more artistic. Each participant gets a sturdy photo frame and a variety of fresh and dried flowers to decorate it. They’ll learn how to choose the right blooms, place them neatly, and secure them in place without making a mess. This session is perfect for those who love crafts. It helps build a sense of color matching and patience. The final result is a beautiful keepsake frame ready to hold a favorite photo. It’s also a sweet gift idea that shows love and thought.

August 19 – Ribbon Bows

In this session, it’s all about ribbons. The girls will learn how to create bows of all shapes and sizes using satin, sheer, and patterned ribbon. From simple one-loop bows to full fancy ones, each design teaches something new. These bows can be used on gift boxes, baskets, clips, or even as a hair accessory. They’ll learn how to shape and fluff each bow to look neat and full. It’s a useful skill with lots of everyday charm. The session will be filled with color, texture, and giggles as they try out different looks.

August 26 – Simple Bouquets

The final week is all about creating small hand-held bouquets. The girls will learn how to group flowers by size, color, and shape to create a pleasing bunch. They’ll then wrap them in craft paper and tie them off with a ribbon. The process teaches balance, care, and presentation. Each bouquet will be a personal creation, showing off what they’ve learned through the weeks. Walking out with a bouquet made with their own hands is a special moment, and many parents find this session to be the most heartwarming of all.

Why Your Child Should Join

This class is not just about flowers. It’s about building confidence and working with care. Each session is guided by someone kind and patient, making sure every girl feels included and proud of her work. The group is small, which means more personal attention and a peaceful, relaxed setting.

Many kids enjoy having something creative to look forward to each week. And many parents are surprised by how much their daughters enjoy working with flowers. It's also a great way to step away from screens and spend time doing something simple and meaningful.

The materials used are safe and suited for small hands. Each girl will take home her creations at the end of every session. It’s a sweet way to create lasting summer memories.
